Privacy Policy

A clear account of analytics, advertising partners, affiliate links, browser storage, and the choices available to you.

Last updated · July 18, 2026

HotAirTag is designed as a low-data publishing site. We do not require user accounts, comments, payments, or newsletter signups. This page explains analytics, affiliate links, advertising partners, browser storage, and the choices available to you.

What We Collect

HotAirTag does not run user accounts, login forms, comment sections, checkout flows, or newsletter signups. We do not ask you to give us a name, email address, payment information, or profile. Like most websites, basic technical information may be processed by our hosting, analytics, affiliate, video, or advertising providers when their services load.

Analytics: Fathom Analytics

We use Fathom Analytics to understand how visitors use our site, such as which pages are popular and where traffic comes from. Fathom is a privacy-focused analytics service that:

  • Does not use cookies
  • Does not collect personal data or IP addresses
  • Does not track individuals across sites
  • Is designed to support GDPR, CCPA, ePrivacy, and PECR-friendly analytics with no analytics cookie banner by default

Fathom aggregates anonymous page view data only. You can read more about their approach at Fathom's compliance page.

Google Ads and Advertising Partners

HotAirTag may show ads provided by Google AdSense or other advertising partners. If ads are enabled, Google and its certified vendors may use cookies, local storage, device identifiers, IP address, browser information, page URL, approximate location, ad interactions, and similar signals to deliver ads, measure ad performance, prevent fraud, limit how often you see an ad, and support personalized or non-personalized advertising.

Google's advertising data practices are governed by the Google Privacy Policy and Google's Advertising Technologies page. Where required, HotAirTag will use Google Privacy & messaging or another Google-certified consent management platform to collect and pass your advertising choices.

You can manage personalized advertising through Google My Ad Center, browser privacy settings, and applicable consent controls shown on the site. If you withdraw or deny consent where consent is required, ads may still appear, but they should be limited to non-personalized or otherwise permitted forms depending on your region and the choices available.

Affiliate Links and Amazon Cookies

Some articles contain affiliate links to Amazon.com and other retailers. When you click an affiliate link, the retailer (not HotAirTag) may set cookies on your device to track the referral. These cookies are governed by the retailer's own privacy policy.

We participate in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program. Amazon's cookies and data collection are subject to the Amazon Privacy Notice. HotAirTag does not have access to any data Amazon collects about you.

External Links

Our articles link to third-party websites such as Amazon, Apple, and other product manufacturers. Once you leave HotAirTag, you are subject to that site's privacy policy. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of external websites.

Cookies and Local Storage

HotAirTag stores your theme and palette preferences in your browser's local storage so the site can remember your display choice. Analytics currently use a cookieless setup. Affiliate retailers, video embeds, advertising partners, consent tools, or other third-party services may use cookies or local storage when their features load or when you click through to them.

You can clear cookies and local storage in your browser settings. Some privacy tools may block analytics, ads, affiliate tracking, or embedded media; the core articles should remain readable.

Children's Privacy

HotAirTag is a general-audience product review site. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13, and the site is not directed to children. If you believe a child has provided information to us, contact us so we can review and delete it where applicable.

Privacy Rights and User Choices

Depending on where you live, privacy laws such as GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, or similar state laws may give you rights to request access, correction, deletion, portability, or limits on certain processing of personal information.

  • Use browser settings to block or delete cookies and local storage.
  • Use Google My Ad Center or site consent controls, where available, to manage personalized advertising choices.
  • Contact us if you believe HotAirTag has data about you and you want to exercise an applicable privacy right.

Because HotAirTag does not run user accounts or collect registration data, we may have limited ability to identify a visitor from a request alone. We will still respond to applicable privacy requests based on the information reasonably available to us.

YouTube API Services

HotAirTag publishes original video content to its own YouTube channel using the YouTube API Services. We use these services solely to upload and manage videos we created ourselves. We do not request, access, collect, or store any personal data, viewing history, subscriptions, or account information belonging to you or any other YouTube user.

Our use of the YouTube API Services is subject to the YouTube Terms of Service, and any data handled by Google in connection with those services is governed by the Google Privacy Policy.

Because we collect no YouTube user data, there is nothing stored about you for us to delete. If you have ever granted an application access to your Google or YouTube account, you can review and revoke that access at any time through Google's security settings page.

Changes to This Policy

If we change our privacy practices, we will update this page and revise the date below.
